ACT launches new service to enable on line ordering of concessionary travel passes

ACT has launched a new web portal service to allow concessionary travel pass holders to apply for and renew their concessionary travel pass on line.

ACT have launched this fully managed online application portal to enable local authorities to provide multiple channels to access services and reduce the overall cost of administration of concessionary pass travel schemes.

Current systems enable citizens to request new and replacement cards in person or by post. However, the new portal service lowers the burden on local authorities and Passenger Travel Executives by reducing the manual administration associated with travel card applications and renewals.

The web portal service provides all the key service interactions needed to maintain a concessionary card scheme including new applications, lost or stolen replacement passes or online renewal for passes about to expire. The ACT portal is fully integrated into online verification services and also supports the need to take credit/debit card payments for replacement passes.
