Technology
A significant proportion of ACT employees are software engineers undertaking the research and development required to keep ACT products leading the market. A strong culture of software engineering is supported by the use of modern languages, databases, tools and hardware platforms, and a career framework for staff. At ACT, we develop reliable, scalable, high performance, enterprise strength systems that are delivered through internet technologies and provided under a model of "software as a service".
Project Management
ACT has a well-established and robust project methodology that explicitly defines the project process. This is used to ensure that a project is delivered on time and to the high quality standard that is expected by our customers. This methodology has been developed against industry standards and tailored to support the specific needs of our customers. In addition to the formal processes in place, is a passion within the project team to deliver a solution that truly meets the customer needs, and this is at the heart of every project delivery.
Commercial Management
A prime role of being a member of ACT’s commercial team is to become the “voice of the customer”. We strive to ensure that our Account Management personnel remain focused on providing clear, open and informative feedback to our customers on our products and services throughout the lifecycle of our commercial relationship with you. All of our Commercial Team bring extensive experience in providing systems derived around smart card and IT services delivery which ensures that we can support your programme through understanding your needs and providing advice on best options moving forward.
Finance
The ACT Finance function provides global support for the business at all levels. By running the financial systems on a real-time basis, ACT maintains an up-to-date financial view of the business at all times. Through using proven accounting systems and procedures, ACT upholds an agile methodology to the everyday running of the department. ACT prides the Finance department on its integrity, approachability and overall professionalism.
